We can work in both traditional and contemporary ways.
I learned the techniques from István Vidák, felting pioneer from Hungary, during a wonderful summer holiday in Tisa-sjasj.
Apart from felt making, there are many different techniques in this bag.
Designing your motifs.
Transfer the motifs to the felt.
Embroider the motifs with the Tsjirasj stitch, which means close together. This is again bordered with a chain stitch.
The Tsjirasj stitch around the edge to join the pieces together.
Lining the felt and quilting together.
Kabul weaving.
Double finger crochet.
Making tessels.
