Our almost 5-year-old Sophieke needed new slippers and they had to be pink / purple. She also chose the decoration materials herself, including several from the stock of my mother, who passed away in 2008. Sophie helped lay the wool and determined the shape of the fabric. Which beads and where they came from and of course the colors of the rainbow.
