This time I used Bergschaap (Mountain sheep) wool instead of the Finnish wool, in the previous slippers. To make sure they last 10 years, I felted a layer of chiffon on both the inside and the outside for reinforcement.
At the top I have woven a border with a band loom and the embroidery also serves as decoration and reinforcement.
Of course, the soles have to be renewed from time to time, as do the threads with which they are secured.
