The following courses are taught here in Mother Earth’s workshop. In principle, we work for five days once a month.
You can determine if you want to come a part of the day, a day or more days. Also you can determine how often you want to come.

The different course blocks have a specific theme.
In mutual consultation it is also possible to learn something other than the theme indicated for different data.

Times

Daycourse: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm / 2.00 – 5.00 pm

Part of a day: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm or 2.00 – 5.00 pm

Take with you: (Olive)soap and watersprinkler.
On a daycourse you also bring your lunch.
Coffee, tea and some goodies are always available here.

During the courses you can go to Mother Earth’s shop with a broad offer of self-dyed wool, materials to felt in, embroidery threads and basic materials.

Costs

Part of the day 3 hours:
€ 45,00 – included 21% vat

Day
2 dayparts and break: € 85,00 – included 21% vat

Daycourse: 10.00 am – 1.00 pm / 2.00 – 5.00 pm
Break from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm.

Excluding material

You pay for every daypart and when you have 10 signed strips you can shop at Mother Earth’s shop for € 25,00.

Registration

You register by sending an email to vilt@annemiekoenen.nl stating the course, date, your name, address and telephone number.

By mail you receive a confirmation of your registration and the request to pay.

Your registration is binding.

When unexpectedly you cannot participate you have the following options:

– Often it is possible to catch up on another day. Please consult me.

– You can let someone else participate in your place and handle the financial part with that person. There will be no extra costs then.

The embroidery courses live

We work on Wednesdays from 2:30 pm to 5:00 pm.

Meditative embroidery
Embroidery is meditative. We work together, each on our own work.
You can receive guidance to start a new work, continue an existing work, hear the angels and/or technical advice/explanation of materials and stitches.

You can register using a strip card
for 5 meetings €87.50 or 10 meetings €150.00,

You only pay if you can be present.
This will then be debited to your card.

Helping hands on Wednesday afternoon

For people who don’t live too far away, there is also the possibility to do helping hands on Wednesday afternoon from 2 pm to 5 pm. Basically every Wednesday except when I’m on the road or during the holidays. If you want to come, please let me know via email first: vilt@annemiekoenen.nl

Helping hands

If you want to keep costs low and can come regularly, or for several days at a time, you can also choose to work with the ‘helping hands’ strip card.
Or you can come 5 days and do the card in one go.

On 10 dayparts you pay for 2 dayparts when you have a class. Those are the first 2 half-days on your card.
The remaining 8 times you have a class 4 times and 4 times you help in my workshop with the usual activities.
This may vary from taking care of materials for the shop, carding or felting, depending on your experience, possibilities and wishes.
You will be included in the flow of Mother Earth.
The helping hands are the force of the workshop.
The additional advantage for you is the possibility to practice, practice and again practice. An effective way to really master the craft.

Practice makes perfect!

Stay

There are several Bed and Breakfast’s in the area. If you are interested I can give you a list.

It is possible to continue working in the workshop in the evenings.

October 2025

A week’s vacation at Annemie’s—yes, that’s what you thought—it was hard work. The surprise was that there’s now a felting machine in the workshop, which makes the physical work a bit easier…and with success. From my beautiful, large piece of felted fabric, I’m going to sew a garment from a pattern. I made beautiful slippers for my brother, which I learned a lot from. And I also learned to weave ribbons to finish it all off beautifully. We’d love to come back again and we thank Annemie for her great expertise in the art of felting. Love, Nora
